Mission
The mission of the Somali American Police Association (SAPA) is to promote positive relationships between the Somali-American community and law enforcement through mutual understanding, respect, and cooperation. We aim to increase representation and diversity within the police force, provide training and resources to both law enforcement and the community, and work to create safer and stronger communities for all. Our goal is to bridge the gap between the Somali-American community and law enforcement, and to build a better future for all.

We envision a future where the Somali-American community is fully engaged and respected by law enforcement, and where the diverse perspectives and contributions of Somali-American police officers are valued and utilized. Our ultimate goal is to create a society where all individuals, regardless of their background, are treated with dignity and respect and have equal opportunities to succeed.
